I have decided to review this Paul Weller song ''Wake Up The Nation as an extra added bonus. I am not reviewing the whole album. I'm just reviewing one song even though I has put the album cover onto this review.
I was brought up on Paul Weller when I was a little child and in later years, I found out that he was the lead singer from ''The Jam'' and ''The Style Council. I believe Paul Weller is one of the true artists that has not only created music that was original, he also pushed the creative boundaries. At the end of the day, it is the true artists that are paving the way for future artists who will create music that is new and fresh. Paul Weller is incredibly talented and he has a very unique, unmatchable voice. His guitaring skills are incredible and truly off the chart. Paul Weller is one of my favorite artists off all time and his music is absolutely brilliant. We need a lot more artists who are willing to take some risks in pushing the creative boundaries and making music that has never been heard of before.
The song ''Wake Up The Nation'' is a clarion call and a reaction that the current music scene and culture has become safe, dull and boring. There is way too much apathy in this world and the sad reality is that we have become disconnected. Today, Facebook and Mobile Phones have replace true community and it breaks my heart. I find it disturbing. I have addressed this before and I will address it again. Community is important and we cannot live live isolated from one another.
I pray that the music industries would stop treating artists like puppets on a string and forcing them to be something they are not. I am crying out for true artistry, not fabrication.
Let us all stop putting other artists in a box and start giving them wide open space to be original and creative. I believe they should be creating music that no artist can imitate.
May God bless you forevermore.
I would like to recommend some very amazing albums.
