This blog is where i am reviewing quite a lot of different music. I am on a mission to broaden peoples musical tastes and try out new things. I have reviewed some Contemporary Christian and Gospel artists and i have also reviewed some artists that are not part of the CCM Culture. The reviews of artists that are in the CCM and Gospel artists were to help people realise that Christian music is not all boring. There are some fantastic Christian and Gospel artists out there. People just need to dig deeper. Some of the artists in the CCM culture have crossed over to the mainstream music world. Switchfoot, POD and Mat Kearney are quite popular in the USA. Skillet also crossed over to the american mainstream. Mega talented American rap artist Lecrae is also broadening his reach with his music and he is absolutely incredible. Owl City is also in the CCM culture and i heard some of his music on Christian Radio stations like Radio IShine and i believe he is also on UCB extra. Owl City is a christian and his popular song is Fireflies. Owl City is another artist who crossed over to the mainstream. I have also reviewed some non christian artists with the intention of raising up new bands and artists and challenging them to be creative and never settle for less. Some non christian songs can be used for Christian purposes. the Church tend to label music that is not part of the christian culture Secular Music. I have reviewed a couple of albums by the likes of U2 and Carleen Anderson and they are christians who have left a positive mark in the Secular Music culture. Carleen Anderson collaborated with the likes of Paul Weller and Ocean Colour Scene and they are fantastic. I hope and pray that his whole blog will inspire people to broaden their musical taste and give hope to people. I pray that new talents will be raised up and that they will use God's gift of music to give glory to God and restore communities across the globe. God bless you all.

Contemporary Christian Music, CCM for short started in the late 60's, early 70's and whas known as Jesus Music. I have a strong passion For CCM and I strongly Believe that it was supposed to reach out to every person across the globe and not just limited to a christian audience. Music has the power to change peoples lives and If we use our music to serve God, It can have a positive impact on other people. CCM sounds quite similar to mainstream music but Contains lyrics that promote the Christian Faith and brings glory to God. A lot of Non Christians seem to think that CCM is too Boring and Religious but I don't agree. There Are A lot of bands out there that have christian Members but make Awesome Music. CCM consists of the Similar Music Styles. Pop, Rock, Hip Hop, Gospel, Country and Western, Heavy Metal and Reggae and all other different music styles. There have been Some Crossover Artists that have Had some Airplay On Mainstream Radio including Amy Grant, Delirious, Mary Mary, Sixpence None The Richer and Owl City. There Are Other Bands and Artists I believe that Non Christians Will enjoy, Tobymac, Michael W Smith, House Of Heroes, Switchfoot, Jars Of Clay, Newsboys, Third Day, Steven Curtis Chapman, DC Talk, Lecrae, Trip Lee, Group1crew, Anberlin, Hawk Nelson, Relient K and Many Many More. I would like to encourage you not to buy Into the lie That Christian Music Sounds too religious And Boring Otherwise you Are Going To Miss out On Some Of the best music that has been Created. My Prayer is that this blog Will Encourage Non Believers to alter there views on CCM and blow all the misconceptions away. I Encourage you To Look At Some CCM Websites, Jesus Freak Hideout and Louder Than The Music. I will also include some artists that are not part of the CCM industry as an extra added bonus as well.
