John Reuben: Word Of Mouth.

I am pleased to review another amazing album which is one of the most innovative and exciting albums you will hear. John Reuben is quite comical and animated and his music is original and creative and it doesn't conform to conventional and commercial standards. We need a lot more original and innovative artists that are willing to create music that has never been heard of before.
In the past i used to listen to Gorillaz and Gnarls Barkley and they are very cartoony and animated in their music. I also listened to some futuristic indie bands including Space and Super Furry Animals and their songs were quite animated and futuristic. These two bands are examples of boundary pushing and unbridled creativity in their music.

If you like music that is creative, original and animated then check out John Reuben. He is a Rap artist who truly stands out and he is not afraid to create music that is awesome and fun with lyrics that are real and authentic. I like John Reuben quite a lot because he knows how to create songs that bring the younger side to me and make music that is captivating. I am hopefully going to listen to John Reuben for quite a long time. The first time I heard of John Reuben was when I heard the song ''Make Money Money'' on the Hip Hope Hits 2008 CD last year. ''Make Money Money'' is also on the album
''Word Of Mouth'' along with other songs including ''Sing Like You Mean It'', The Title Track,
''Miserable Exaggeration'' and ''Good Evening'', and they are all fun songs.
The Title Track is very thought provoking and it deals with the sameyness and the mundanity that artists fall into especially when they create new songs that sound the same and that don't move forward creatively. True artists are usually the ones who take risks in creating music that is new and original and that don't conform to the conventional standards that contributes to mediocrity.

Sadly, there is a lack of inspiration and innovation in the music industry today and it breaks my heart. It is so overtly consumed with art for sales and a lot of young people are missing out on true artistry today and we are too consumed with what is selling in the charts. The music industry is in a very bad state because of the stagnation and lack of originality in music. Music listeners, can i please encourage you to check out other artists and not to keep feeding on a diet of what is selling in the charts. This culture is so celebrity oriented and is so consumed with false images that contributes to fakeness and and is seriously misleading the youth culture to it's own consequence.
Let us stand out from the crowd and be who God truly created us to be.
